The pain
we feel whenthings are not going well
for our child
is
a tiny glimpse
of the Father heart of God
for us
when we
choose
what is not
the very best
for our lives.
He is sad
not an angry sad
or a disappointed sad
or a frustrated sad
but
a sad so wrapped in
intense
unconditional
everlasting
love
that when we catch
a glimpse
it brings us
to our knees
and
into the warm again embrace
of the
ever present
Father
of us all.
It is Father's Day in this part of the world. Whatever our experience with our our earthly fathers, our heavenly Father's heart is towards us completely and totally. Jesus has made a way for us to be reconciled with God the Father. This is more wonderful than we have capacity to understand right now, but we will see it more fully during eternity if we say "Yes" to Jesus, and receive Him as our Savior and Lord.
